A scene of a dramatic landscape deep in the Cairngorms. The Lairig Ghru snakes its way from Aviemore between the mountains, passing the remote Corrour bothy at the foot of The Devil's Point. The isolation is wonderful, the colours stunning at any time of year. This lightweight silk ponge square measures 90 cm along its edge. It has hand rolled edges and little beads at the corners. Colours of terracotta, ultramarine, corn, old rose and heron grey. The design has been created by spraying fibre reactive dyes and detail picked out with silk paints.
